also, Dennick so far is over performing for me in testing. the lifelink is relevant, the static abilities are relevant, and it’s a de facto 2 for 1

if you wanna support ninja decks, you might take a page from the Pauper Faeries/Ninjas deck and do a Faerie Miscreant squadron pick. faerie seer is just not very good regardless of whether you’re in legacy or retail. the body has nigh-zero impact on the board

faerie seer is not really very strong, but between those two i’ll pick the one that scrys on ETB. still quite narrow to ninjas or curiosity decks like mown said

agree, if you’re gonna be doing shops and reanimator type decks, they need to be unfair to be worth playing

future sight is also really bad but at least it lets you get more cards right away

so here’s why i think Monk class is bad. Level 1: you get NOTHING until the third time you double spell, at which point the card paid for itself plus 1 mana. Level 2: a “fine” bounce spell, except it can only be activated on your turn, which is typically (not necessarily) much less than ideal...
