it’s VERY feast or famine. will be unfair one game and do literally nothing next game. EDIT; if you want splashy unfair variance plays to be a feature of the cube, like Tinker and Storm and such, it’ll fit right in and be a pretty fun build around. in “fair” cubes i wouldn’t touch it

what design gap are you looking to fill with this? ramp, reanimator, and artifacts all have a lot of options with similar bodies that are more likely to actually do something

thanks for highlighting these! i may end up testing some of these producers in my arena cube. i already have some sac/artifact/draw two stuff in there and these support all those themes if i ignore the parasitic blood-only payoffs.

brainstorming type folks have said good things about it, so if you’ve got the dual-typed fixing density like that model of cube, it should perform for you. i don’t run it because i just don’t feel like it (WHAT THE TEXT?!?) but i’m sure it would kick butt in my cube, there’s a 4 color aggro deck...

Cleave did nothing wrong! But yeah it’s a chill set overall. i did end up with plenty of “yeah ok i’ll test this” cards but only three slam dunks (Lancer, Visionary, Taxidermist)

Testing and includes! Overall this felt like a “fine” set to me. A few cool things for both my cubes but nothing “earth shattering” EXCEPT COBBLED LANCER which my jaw is still on the floor about! Sets like this are nice because there’s not a lot of FOMO stress on the crazy expensive mythics but...

red gettin treated RIGHT this set, my goodness. the 3/1 for 2 that draws a card and becomes a 4/3 just seems NUTS and i am super happy to get another Light Up the Stage ish effect. and yeah the UR brain is an easy slam dunk in basically every cube ever
