I think a top-deck theme is totally doable, especially in a Riptide-style cube, but IMO you want to add support for it in Red and Black with stuff like The Good Abbot and The Bad Abbot. And Bob, and Chandra Pyromaster, and so on. Effects like Manifest, Scry, Dredge, Grisly Salvage, and so on...

Okay, but, at what cost would "make a scion, draw a card at instant speed" be cubable? Cuz i feel like at 2 that'd be a really sweet effect.
