    Sets Battle for Zendikar Spoilers

I mean, it's not far off. "Choose a nonland permanent. Exile that permanent." Ought to retain the original 1v1 functionality. But if I were ti make a custom CJ, i'd change the cost to 2W. Anyway, how about that new Cremate that costs 3 and makes an Eldrazi Scion? Seems cool.

    Sets Battle for Zendikar Spoilers

Small nitpick: The fixed card has lost the ability to hit hexproof/pro-white stuff... Which is part of the strength of CJ.

Man, ive been patiently waiting for season 2 for like a year, and one day i searched "colossal titan" because my wife wanted to do a cross stitch of him... Thanks to the first search result preview i now know who the colossal titan is. IM SO MAD AT YOU INTERNET

"Shingeki no MTGS" is going great! The first guy to respond to my ULD post was like "hey i wanna try that next time." It's like... Idk, maybe everyone can get along after all? *Colossal Titan shows up out of nowhere*

Card/Deck Swords to Plowshares too good for my cube?

Another thing to think about is that, if your curve is low enough, the "good" removal like StP and Bolt isn't quite as good, because your average-case tempo-gain scenario gets worse. Removing a Blood Artist or Rabblemaster with StP feels a lot more fair than hitting their Titan or Baneslayer.

Since I still have an account over at MTGS (with an avatar and everything!), I decided to pop over there every day or two and give super-Riptidey suggestions in the cube forum, then troll hard by simply ignoring all the singleton-only-powermax-high-fives BS that's likely to follow said...

Hathaway needs help (cutting down to 405)

A couple things I can see that would get your size down in a hurry: -Take your gold cards down from 6/guild to 5/guild, or even 4/guild. Gold cards are the hardest to cast, so they'll be less painful cuts in terms of the way your cube drafts and plays. For a 400 cube, 4-5 cards per guild is...

    General Fight Club

How is that art bad? It perfectly conveys the Goblin concept of sharpshooting. "I've never missed at this range! Except that one time..." -Bugglehukk, goblin sharpshooter Edit: just noticed the artist credit, and imo it's one of wayne's best mtg pieces, or at least his most unique.

I want to believe in manifest, but it's not easy XD What about this guy? Sultai Emissary

General When Is Fixing Too Good?

Ooh, I also like "Land Pick" vouchers in the main draft. That seems like something worth trying. I can sharpie them onto something useless I have a ton of.

The Dandy Cube (Chris Taylor's Cube)

Good luck! I am also a big fan of the WW aristocrat.

Man, I didn't realize how much I love U+splash control until I started test drafting this cube. Here's a Uwb Lands deck I thought looked fun:

General When Is Fixing Too Good?

FSR, I think I prefer your method of roto-drafting lands to what I was doing before. How do you lay out your lands for the roto-draft? In a binder? In a stack? All over the place?

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

Is this guy any good? Qarsi High Priest I probably overvalue manifest, but it seems like a kinda-sorta-similar effect to Evolutionary Leap, which you might say is a decent card, and it's not like someone is going to actually spend a card removing this guy, which gives him similar resilience to...

General When Is Fixing Too Good?

I'm seriously considering just giving my drafters like 2 Evolving Wilds each before the draft starts. That card does an environment a world of good, especially if you're trying to push top-of-deck manipulation, graveyards, and landfall (like, say, I am).

    General Fight Club

You definitely want Blas-Act if you're running Reckoner and Mare. But if you can consistently get threshold by T5, Shower of Coals seems hella good. FTK is still the bomb dawg, though. I don't think Fledgling Dragon is worth jumping through the hoops.

General When Is Fixing Too Good?

Nope. But the more I think about overloading on Evolving Wilds, the more I like it. It has all the secondary bonuses of a fetch (Delve fuel, shuffle effect, etc.), is more likely to wheel, and is just a really simple solution to my fixing problem.

One Pack One Pick (p1p1 thread)

I pick Myr Battlesphere. If I can't reanimate it, I can probably get Tinker, and if I can't Tinker into it, I can just play a control deck and win with it and/or Keiga. I'll be real surprised if at least one good card doesn't wheel. That pack is stacked.

The Riptidening—Building my Cube from scratch

There is no lantern in the ULD, haha. I may be overly optimistic about Shredder because of how sleeper-OP it is in my EDH playgroup, but I think there's enough of a graveyard focus in the cube that it can do good work in the right decks (which it will obviously wheel to). It's not like my...
