It's good in like turbo-ramp decks where you can empty your hand quickly to generate mana, and then use this to reload whilst your opponent only gets 1-2 extra cards out of it. Also any deck that can make lands generate more than one mana can often find a way to use it.

That would be much more balanced, and in fact is very close to an existing card Words of Wilding which is far from broken, so it's probably fine.

I'd say the question you ask here is whether a 0 mana 3/3 trample is going to be better than the average card in your deck, and the answer is most of the time going to be "yes". It also pops off huge with instant speed card draw, especially X spells - if you have Sphinx's Rev/Blue Sun's Zenith...

Someone pointed out that his 0 ability is the same as Sarkhan the Mad's, so maybe there is something about him losing his sanity in the lore.

I love the RW monarch deck in pauper. It's completely different to what you'd expect out of a Boros deck.

We did ours on a google sheet, but over a few days rather than all being there at once. We proxied up the decks for one, and did one or two others on MTGO, but for most of them we never ended up playing the games.
