Same for Ranger of Eos' stock. Being able to grab Hangarback Walker with Mikaeus, the Lunarch or Carrion Feeder is pretty rad for token decks.

I do prefer Soul-Scar Mage as a 1cmc red buildaround over the Elder.

I love the big blue/artifact control archetype. Academy Ruins is really fantastic to reuse your small amount of threats (Torrential Gearhulk), and recur sweepers like Engineered Explosives and Nevinyrall's Disk.
