I don't like this card as much as I used to or as much as the larger Cube community seems to currently. This card is simultaneously very punishing to players who don't know how to properly split the piles and increasingly becoming too slow as the average creature deck becomes faster and faster...

I like: Hieroglyphic Illumination It fills that nice space where it can be both a good late-game draw spell for reactive strategies, while also being able to come down and cycle early to help smooth a draw. None of that even mentions the fact that this fits well with discard synergies.

Sets (AFR) Adventures in the Forgotten Realms Previews- Dripping with Flavor, and Excess Words!

I just googled it and it turns out that Giant Space Hamsters are a thing in D&D. Oh my.

Sets (AFR) Adventures in the Forgotten Realms Previews- Dripping with Flavor, and Excess Words!

I think a lot of these hints are more for big Forgotten Realms fans more than anyone else. I think WOTC was going for reactions like this: ...Which is a perfectly valid way to sell a crossover set. I have no idea who Minsk and Boo are, but I'm excited to find out!

Oh, so you're the reason I can choose Theros Island 236 as the default for all of my cubes... ;) Personally I'm a slightly bigger fan of Island 237 but Island 236 is slightly more humorous.

Hey, welcome back! I'd recommend looking at the Testing and Includes threads for the last few sets in order to see what the community is kind of high or low on from a design perspective. Here is the one for Modern Horizons 2 and Here is the one for Strixhaven. I've also been writing some top 10...

Mordor's Cube (The Ship of Theseus)

This is exactly how I feel about Halvar, God of Battle. The sword by itself would be a completely playable card, but a lot of that value comes from being a good tutor target for Stoneforge Mystic. Without being tutorable, a good chunk of this card's flexibility is actually lost. I've considered...

    General Fight Club

Ravenous Squirrel is a much more flexible card than Moldervine Reclamation, and it can act as both an enabler and a payoff in its own right. Furthermore, since sacrifice is only tertiary in green in your Cube, having a card that can be played in mono-black sacrifice in addition to black-green is...

    Sets (MH2) Modern Horizons 2 Testing/Includes Thread

If you want to capitalize on this card's Panharmonicon mode, you would need several other Wizards and Shamans with triggered abilities (specifically triggered abilities importantly, not activated abilities like with Grim Lavamancer). Looking at your Cube, I only see 3 Wizards or Shamans in red...

Broken by Technicality: A 360/100 Cube!

In this Cube, every deck is broken... ...Almost. The idea here is that every deck is trying to do something broken, whether it's cheating on mana, ritual acceleration, or winning with an empty library. The problem, of course, is that every deck is missing a vital piece to make it truly broken...

    Sets (MH2) Modern Horizons 2 Testing/Includes Thread

I think this is inconsistent garbo if you're planning to put it into Sign, Again(?). This card really wants to be in a Cube with a power level close to that of retail limited. Anywhere else, I think it does way too little for too much mana.
