I also think it would've been a much cooler design as a 2/2 that triggered on this and two other soldiers attacking. Less pushed stats, more achievable synergy reward.

I'm playing everything but the Stitcher. Only going in a focused selfmill strategy makes it too narrow for my taste.

Totally agree on the fail of doing colored artifacts. I have no clue how you can screw that up after printing Bolas' Citadel, but they already managed to fail for some of the MH2 retro cards. Get a taste of how I felt for every cool new card for the past ~8 years ;)

I'm definitely not advocating playing that card in your cubes, but back in my day, we were all playing bad 2-color casual guild decks and Cleansing Beam was a legitimate tiebraker. Against something like Golgari, you'd target a gold card and often kill three creatures, and against Selesnya...

The baloth is really dope too, but, in addition to not really fitting into the loam deck, I'd prefer to have an enabler in this slot rather than a payoff, as the latter are so much more plentiful in the mono colors.
