I think the quality of the current suite of one drops give you enough material to support a theme without going overboard. It was an experiment, but 3 delvers ended up with one player, I got two champs and you know how the Rdw deck looked. Probably it'll be fine as just two offs

sparksmith so, anybody got experience with this? I feel like the fact that it doesn't hit players kinda lets it down a bit, but then again it probably does some serious work with your opponents board state together with a hordeling outburst

Time and time again I get to realise the fact that LGS's not running pick draft is the norm. To me having to choose between picking a card to draft and a card worth money just seems bizarre, but that's the way people seem to roll? Or is it a special MM15 thing?

I mean, the DNA thing isn't going to change when different people do the tests but, hey, sure!

I mean, mtg is a really really good game, but is it the best? Like that is such an insanely high reaching claim. The best card game or the best gaame? Also not for nothing but the mtg scene could do with more cute players regardless.

Honestly, as disappointed as some people are in the reprints, I'm actually positive about the way the draft format looks. This is just at face value, but there seems to be some ideas in there that I've seen in cubes on this board, in the lower power department, so hopefully it'll be nice to see...

I think I was quoting someone on that, so maybe what I really should've written was declaw durdly midrange. I like the idea of making the goofier brew decks the midrange thing, like the stuff you mentioned (pod and etc), and let aggro and control be a little bit more just powerful and linear...

I think picking removal is still a good idea this early, it keeps you pretty open and its not like you're hogging a crucial combo piece.
