    General Custom Cards: The Lab

Those seem sweet! holy crap 2CC, that's a hell of a mana cost. Each opponent sacrifices a colored creature, If they cannot, they exile a card from their hand Each opponent sacrifices a colored artifact, If they cannot, they exile a card from their hand Each opponent sacrifices a colored...

Nah that's fine. C is hard man. I mean, unless it isn't. Then 4cc could be alright

    General Custom Cards: The Lab

It's cool, but does the eldrazi deck need proliferate? Maybe it's a little more in reach in your cube, but a counters deck isn't going to splash for this, are they? Also, do you want them to? If you're looking for archetype overlap, I'm not sure this is the card you want. If you're not, drop...

Also works surprisingly well in prowess style decks I've found. the demand prowess puts on your noncreature spell count obviously means you'll be running less creatures, making protecting the threats you do have all the more important. I've also tried benevolent bodyguard (A favorite from pauper...

It sure blocks well, and it's kinda halfway between Beast within and Song of the dryads in how pathetic a permanent it gives them. It's pretty eminently killable at only 3 toughness, so I hardly think it'll be a problem, unless your cube is actually how most people joke mine is becoming (100%...

Oh also: oh man this costs 1 mana. Aren't hearthstone creatures this big? It's also got the cutest form of deathtouch ever

Plus the eldrazi are already about exile, so even if it breaks rules it's consistent with their other rule breaking *Shrug*

    Card/Deck The Simic Combine

*Shrug* It always felt so minimal. a 1/1 isn't really a body worth being excited over. Sure there's a non-zero amount of 2/1s in cube, but I found there were a lot of situations where it wasn't actually trading with anything, just being a speedbump, essentially a lifegain spell. Drawing a card...

Elvish Visionary never really did it for me, so Slightly better him at a way worse mana cost just baffles me. does you cube have like 17 force of wills?

I think the closest thing my list has to that kind of interaction is Spikeshot Elder, and maybe Hanwier Battlements if it's good enough

Also, just to backtrack a bit What do we think of this? You can deal with it by blocking, edicting, or wrathing, but colorless 3/3s for 3 that are (Okay immune is the wrong word, but it's close) to spot removal seems like something worth playing

    Card/Deck Madness Theme

Yeah Chain of Smog is a decent Mind Rot, but I don't think I've ever seen anyone send it back. I mean that does mean it's closer to Hymn to Tourach than it looks, but that doesn't really help madness...

that is me just shortcutting for all the cards that don't say noncreature, and a few cards with more subtle interactions :P Dead weight isn't so bad for this, but something like journey to nowhere (as opposed to something like declaration in stone) doesn't always actually hit the graveyard...

This guy's pretty neato. I dunno if he's actually that good if delirium is hard to hit in your cube, but maybe the filtering gets there? (I Tried my hardest man, I had like Dead weight and nameless inversion and shit, and young pyromancer got so much worse and still everyone was like "Damnit...

There is in mine too, but it always kinda felt out of place. The exile clause was important enough and the 4 damage was important enough that it felt like a lot of key aspects that red needed all on the same spell, even though the card itself isn't really broken. I actually like magma spray a...
