It would take a lot of work for firespout to not just be a red spell with the wrong card frame.

I've found that this is really hard to actually use as threaten, and the 7 mana mode costing 7 is really at odds with the kind of deck that wants a threaten. To me, every sorcery speed Ray of Command I see is a victory, since it means drafters are seeing the "Altrenate" methods, and not just...

this card is ligit good, and I've mostly avoided adding the red version (Blind with Anger) It's a nice way to add 1.5 Control Magic's to your cube as well

Milord, perhaps a more...enticing offering? A fine crossover of your spells and proliferate themes, and serviceable in the zombie decks while milled, and can be put on an isochron scepter.

Drafted RG with pyromancer's goggles yesterday, and weather or not the card is good, it's amazingly fun :D Key Friends: Magma Spray Burst Lightning Devil's Play plus obvious stuff like bolt, etc

Another thing to note is that if anyone's still doing the ajani's pridemate deck, this guy is nice side support that is also fine if you just throw bonesplitter on it

Which can mostly only be interacted with via disenchant :P
