Honestly, I think this set is probably closer to one of the Standard Sets from last year more than the previous Horizons sets. Most of the pushed cards are for niche linear constructed decks that don’t translate well to Cube.

Honestly, I think the ability to go face places Pyrogoyf in a league of its own ahead of Flametongue Kavu. The ability to hit the opponent's face means it can close the game out of nowhere, and it can potentially deal a lot more than 4 damage. I would almost never consider playing Flametongue...

This card is super boring to win with; it's just the world's most generic counter factory that's pretending to be interesting because it has some power-matters synergy. Hal and Alena are cute together, though!
