Broken by Technicality: A 360/100 Cube!

In this Cube, every deck is broken... ...Almost. The idea here is that every deck is trying to do something broken, whether it's cheating on mana, ritual acceleration, or winning with an empty library. The problem, of course, is that every deck is missing a vital piece to make it truly broken...

    Sets (MH2) Modern Horizons 2 Testing/Includes Thread

I think this is inconsistent garbo if you're planning to put it into Sign, Again(?). This card really wants to be in a Cube with a power level close to that of retail limited. Anywhere else, I think it does way too little for too much mana.

Sets ((Article)) Ten Modern Horizons 2 Cards I'm Excited About for Cube!

You're not a has-been, you just took a break! I'm sure you could start writing for one of the big publications again if you did some digging around. Some of the Cube writers they have right now really don't seem to understand the depth of Cube as a medium outside of the MTGO Vintage Cube, so...

I'm glad you enjoyed the article! Timeless Dragon is probably my favorite card in the set, it just does so much!

Prismatic Ending I had Prismatic Ending in my prerelease sealed pool, and it over performed my expectations. It was very rare that the ending didn't have a good target, and it was a clean answer to almost everything. While I do worry a little about it's ability to kill larger midrange threats...

Sets ((Article)) Ten Modern Horizons 2 Cards I'm Excited About for Cube!

Yeah, it turns out that most of the "exciting" cards in this set are pretty good in general. While a few of the cards I chose to write about get a little disrespect (looking at you, Hard Evidence!), the majority are reasonably good cards to begin with. Thank you! I'm hoping I can help people...

    Sets (MH2) Modern Horizons 2 Testing/Includes Thread

Having played against this card several times today, I can definitively say that it is a real beating and can provide a lot of value that other cards can't. I think for a slower, low-power cube like yours, this card is a great option, as it will be good without being oppressive.

Sets ((Article)) Ten Modern Horizons 2 Cards I'm Excited About for Cube!

In this article, I discuss my ten favorite Cube cards from Modern Horizons 2! Keep in mind that this has less to do with card playability and more to do with why these cards are so dang interesting as compared to the many other options in this amazing set. There's something here for everyone...

Oh gosh, I just finished writing my Modern Horizons 2 article. It turns out it was 50% longer than my Strixhaven article! I have no idea how this happened! I even tried to keep this one shorter! Oh well, I guess you all just get more content to read ;)

I don't think that's an actual problem- the tag should still update when the new card is loaded into deckbox. Like, the Damn tag currently gives a random Un-Card, but it won't forever.

General Delirium as a mechanic or archetype in cube

And that card is just a Prowess aggro card pretending to care about Delirium.

General Delirium as a mechanic or archetype in cube

I think the "problem" with Delirium as an archetype isn't that it's difficult to trigger. Rather, it is finding the density of payoffs required to make Delirium a "deck" as opposed to a minor value "theme." Using the contemporary card pool and modern Cube design theory, it is relatively easy to...

Hard Evidence looks very good. I'm viewing it as a "defensive cantrip." The Crab token can be used to stymie early aggression from the opponent, but you get to draw a card later when conditions are more favorable to you. While Hard Evidence isn't blinkable, it can be used to trigger prowess, and...
