Edric is bad in my deck, I don't have many cheap creatures or ways to ramp into Edric and I can't easily force a 2/2 through on the ground. I have more reliable card draw already.

finally, a card that works well with Rancor

have 2,2,1 of those atm and I'm happy with it (only reservation is I have so many GW cards that 2 Wardens seems excessive, but it even helps GB!). The quality of 1-drops especially in red drops off sharply if you don't want to load up on 2/1s and these are a lot more powerful/interesting

I do want Control Magic and Tarmogoyf, also one/both of Baneslayer/Gideon if possible Happy to hand over Foundry and the red stuff

I'd guess I prefer >90% of original arts to promos, even disregarding the shitty foiling process
