It's a card that I for some strange reason originally dismissed, but now I'm cubing it. Equipment/Artifacts, Landfall, Goblin tribal ... almost all my red decks want this. And so do I. You could also say "Einfach Toggo!"

I have the classics Night's Whiser and Read the Bones already, as well as Foreboding Fruit, which plays nicely into my devotion subtheme. I'll add Underworld Connections, which has been good before and just got pushed out because I had space issues.

The Krushok is maybe better in non-madness decks which are aggressive. But I think the cheaper madness cost the goliath offers puts it in front of the krushok in most decks, especially in combination with the higher base stats. I'm not arguing it is wrong to play the krushok, bit I think more...

The reason I am sticking with Goliath currently is the cheaper scavenge cost. I like it in something like an aggressive madness deck, where six mana is much more realistic than seven in the (hopefully) final stages of the game.

Another important difference is, that in Magic you poay against your friends, in D&D you (usually) play with them together. Also, the dungeon master (the person who tells and leads the story) can still be harsh or nice to you. In my D&D experiences die rolling has never lead to feel bad...
