Completely disagree that Moxen guide people into decks. Unless your Cube has a lot of colour-intensive cards, which is something we've been conditioned to shy away from, it rarely matters what colour the Mox is, and they lack the fun and tension of other first-picks that do guide you into...

Nalaar is cool but costs 5 (5 is the new 4), I don't *like* Pyromaster but I understand that it's good, and Firebrand is just bonkers if your Cube has any half-decent spells in it.

There just doesn't seem to be any point in drafting, deckbuilding, or gameplay where Moxen prompt decisions. If you see a Mox, you are taking it. It will make your deck. When you draw it, you will play it without having to think. These are all true the vast majority of the time. It's dull.

I imagine it's similar to what I feel when people bring up 'custom' cards. 'Oh, you doubled up on Faithless Looting?' 'Yeah but it actually costs 2 and draws 3 cards instead' '...'
