Are articles on cubecobra to be trusted?

Never trust anyone anywhere about anything. “Keep your herons and shrews! You will find nothing in the moon, for the moon is a lie! It has told me so!”

General Spaaaaace: To Unfinity and Beyond!

Tokens are the closest analogy for attractions we currently have in eternal Magic. In constructed, attractions are basically going to be cards that make a random token out of a pool of ten cards chosen by the player before the match. They're like Outlaw's Merriment on steroids. As I said, the...

General Spaaaaace: To Unfinity and Beyond!

I think if I end up playing any cards that open attractions I would treat them like token producers. The drafting rule for attractions I think only exists as-is because there's a high density of cards that open attractions in Unfinity limited. However, attractions themselves function more like...

I agree with most of your takes except these two. Haughty Djinn– If anything, I think this card is being underrated by the community. While I would agree this isn't the most powerful cheap Baneslayer we've seen lately, it is one of only a select few three-mana Blue creatures that can really...

Woah, no need for hostility. In both the Oxford and Webster dictionaries, the definition of "fantasy" in relation to fiction has nothing to do with technological or macabre elements. Instead, fantasy is defined as involving the usage of magic or other strange things not derived from the real...

This looks like a card I want to do... something with. Pretty sure it's not good enough for my main Cube, and I don't do counters or tokens in my current battle box. I guess we'll have to figure it out.

Look at this good boy! Even though the loyalty ability you activate when rolling the dice is random, 5/6 of the abilities are things you are always happy to do, and the other ability is usually reasonably useful. I think this card is sweet.

I guess you have a different definition of "Fantasy" in Denmark. In English, fantasy in writing is defined as "a type of story that is set in a world, or a version of our world, that does not really exist and involves magic, monsters, etc." Basically, if it has actual Magic, it counts as...

What about it isn't fantasy? It's a Zombie Golem with a magic weapon.

MaRo posted his Unfinity preview... I don't have a lot to say, but I am hopeful for this line of text: “target non-Brushwagg creature”

Sets (40K) Warhammer 40,000 Commander Set Previews

I don't think Sphinx of Enlightenment is underplayed. Costing 6, no protection, and giving the opponent free stuff isn't the recipe for a good card. Lord of change, by contrast, looks super cool. The mana cost is a little high for it to be something regularly cast outside of maybe a Simic...

Sets (40K) Warhammer 40,000 Commander Set Previews

Cards I wish I had room for volume 69. I don't understand why they printed this card in a straight-to legacy non-draftable set. This seems like the sort of thing that would go into a core set booster draft as a good signpost (with reminder text for slightly difficult keywords). Like I could...
