Love the wording :P
I'm not sure it's that great though. How often is this guy just goblin piker?
Someone with experience running Gaddok Teeg answer this, coffee hasn't hit yet :P
Also Cloven Casting Cube, all it takes is some erratta. Or Type 4 :P
My idea: All lands are utopia lands, everyone begins with 5-7 in play. Could be a sweet archetype enabler.
Vanish does seem a bit overly complex for a card that's supposed to do something really simple: slide something out and make you loot a bunch.
But then again, as it's worded you can kill Roar of the Wurm Tokens and draw 6 cards with no downside. (This happened to me)
Is there a standard format...
Absolutly nothing. That's why people hate it :P
Nothing but the social contract keeps people from just bringing vintage combo decks to the table each week, and I've delibratly had to power decks down to keep games fun.
EG: my General, because I never got to play with Bloodbraid elf...

Alright, U/W is a self-mill deck for threshold beatdown
B/W is heavy control, nothing else
R/G is tokens galore
G has a small subtheme of making doubling season bonkers.
thats like what, 30 seconds?
RE: Fixing, anywhere between 10-15% of the total cube should work.
Signets don't count as much since aggro decks wont play them, but don't forget non-dual land fixing: City of Brass / Evolving Wilds / Gemstone Mine etc
(Quoted relevant chunks)
Basically the opposing argument to this entire rant is "It's EDH, nobody cares."
I kinda care, but the format has been known to play the worst horrible cards wizards produces anyway, why do they need special attention cards which make the format worse?
Primal Surge...
Yeah it's called Liliana of the veil :p
Though he's pretty sweet in his current iteration. I think brad nelson nailed it in their set review: "We had all these control decks eeking out incremental advantages and fighting over huge sphinx's revalations, now it's just like WHAM, Sire, now we're...
