Can you use the P/T stickers to upgrade a card as well? E.g. there's an 8/4 P/T sticker that costs 4, can you make the Barging Sergeant an 8/4 this way?

Honestly, losing Cruel Ultimatum was my biggest regret when I switched to my current color wheel :D Recasting Cruel Ultimatum with Kess, Dissident Mage is just magic.

Gaseous Form means you have an expensive Fog Bank at the cost of a card in hand, whereas the bounce means you have an unkillable creature. Dodging any and all removal is definitely a lot stronger than being able to trade blows in combat without consequences (on either side of the battlefield)...
