I think Sigarda's Vanguard is kind of neat.

I hope the legendary tag isn't very important in your cube in that case.

Sets (LTR) The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle Earth

I was about to suggest that, but it sounded extremely broken. I would make you draw a card for each counter if it costs you a life each turn though. I also think such a mechanic might overshadow the gameplay experience a bit too much. In limited I also think it could be cool to have you mill...

    General [SPM] Marvel's Spider-Man

They had this draft format in the commander set and the sentiment from I think Seth was negative. It's much quicker, and a lot more committal. I also think 4p drafts are prone to deck quality problems this doesn't really solve.

Eerie Gravestone Scout the City Kind of neat, theming aside. The names are very reprintable at least, although it's not all that obvious why scouting a city would kill a flier.

Anticausal Vestige All-Fates Stalker Starfield Shepherd Emissary Escort Uthros Psionicist Some of these probably. Not a big fan of the direction a lot of the warp cards have, would much prefer it they were just another batch of evokes instead of discounted one-turn build-arounds.

    Sets (TDM) Tarkir: Dragonstorm Previews!

I'm feeling pretty vindicated. Kind of annoying that I've now twice been dismayed about a card I want to cube looking overtuned, and it goes on to get banned in standard. We could've both been happy wotc, and instead we're both sad. I'll still keep playing up the beanstalk though, just because...

It gives the opponent a priority window to remove it before you can play a land.

Funny how the etb can be a drawback in fairly common situations.

Uthros Psionicist The final fantasy elf's stay might have been short-lived. I don't know whether I want a 3/2 with first strike for 2W or a 2/4 for 2U.

So the Vote Out leak is fake? Would make some sense considering the set number is cropped out, I don't remember Convoke being deciduous.

I would guess it's so you can aggressively use the second ability without losing access to it.

Unless you're planning to Stifle the trigger I don't really think you need to especially care in this circumstance.

It's an intervening if, so it would not be put on the stack. But it's also because several of the effects work at sorcery speed.
