General Spaaaaace: To Unfinity and Beyond!

My entire cube is double sleeved, so I'm okay with drinks, as long as people don't get drunk. I also riffle shuffle my own cube all the time, so I'm okay with that too, as long as people don't bend the cards in half while doing it.

    General Alchemy

I might be missing something, but Oglor doesn't draw, so it's a really mediocre flip-Jace impression in my mind. It's borderline broken with Tortured Existence though. If you keep swapping the same two creatures, each {b} you spend will create progress more Zombie tokens! Clone Crafter isn't...

    General Alchemy

The discover mechanic in Hearthstone is one of the best mechanics ever, for gameplay, in my opinion. Why reinvent the wheel? :)

It's adorable, and I'm looking forward to the inevitable reprint featuring 4 new blocks :)

    General Alchemy

The only sloppy part of this is the draft mechanic, other than that it is pretty clean imho. I think the etb really fits the flavor (a wanted poster). I also don't think they added that effect to "justify" it being digital-only". These designs were all meant to be digital-only designs, what's...

    General Alchemy

You would need an insane amount of Lightning Bolts for that, considering that he shuffles in 4 (!) Bolts on every (!) attack! :') Really cool design though!

    General 2 Card Archetype [Shitpost]

Honestly, I like Commander, but WotC is pushing cards for the format too hard (we really didn't need Jeweled Lotus... or Dockside Extortionist... or Hullbreacher... or any number of other straight to commander prints), and the Rules Committee makes the weirdest decisions. Super fast mana is...

    General Cultic Cube video series

Gifts offers build around opportunities that FoF doesn't. In terms of raw card advantage FoF is usually better, but it doesn't off the shenanigans lines Gifts does. Putting an Eternal Witness or an Unburial Rites in your pile of four cards is one of the best feelings in the world :D

    Card/Deck Low Power Card Spotlight

An equipment-based deck probably wants to play 3 or 4 equipment max still? You've got to run creatures and removal as well, after all. 10 equipment at 360 doesn't sound unreasonable, assuming that not everyone is going to be interested in first-picking equipment.

There's also... Auriok Glaivemaster Kitesail Apprentice Kor Duelist Auriok Steelshaper Dwarfhold Champion Leonin Den-Guard Sunspear Shikari ... who reward you for equipping them specifically. For some the floor is pretty abysmal, but the dwarf and the shikari have a reasonable floor for a low...

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

I only said that technically you could do it, not that there is an actual way to do it. It was a joke.

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

No, I meant that Oreskos Explorer says "where X is the number of players who control more lands than you" instead of "where X is the number of opponents who control more lands than you" (or "other players"), which means it includes you in the count! Really, all you have to do is find a way to...

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

Technically, you could search for two Plains in a two player game as well, if you find a way to control less lands than yourself :D

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

In practice this means you get that 15th pick Gruul card or extra basic land your opponent had sitting in their sideboard in your hand, so you will be left with either an unplayable card or a relatively useless card. This is never going to be worth the {2}{U}{B} in cube.

I got it and thought it was hilarious :')

General Spaaaaace: To Unfinity and Beyond!

I loved that gimmick! They're utterly useless, of course, outside of maybe shoring up a limited deck, but the fact that they actually commissioned multiple artworks for a visual gag is really funny to me :) Amateur Auteur and Extremely Slow Zombie are my favorites though!

General Spaaaaace: To Unfinity and Beyond!

Wow. I mean, you could have stopped at: "un sets are not for me because I don't like the humor, and don't see the mechanical value in most of the designs." The idea of a parrot saying "save a kill spell for me" in a parrot voice actually does tickle my funny bone, I guess that makes me painfully...

General Spaaaaace: To Unfinity and Beyond!

Looks pretty bad for the aesthetics though, having two different borders. Not that they shy away from doing that in regular sets with the showcase frames, so there's that.

General Spaaaaace: To Unfinity and Beyond!

Or worse, Clocknapper. I bought one for my cube, but never included it after testing showed it is an absolutely miserable card if there is any form of recursion in your format.

    Card/Deck Low Power Card Spotlight

Yeah, it's really good, but GG is really hard on the mana. It's at it best in green aggro (which hasn't historically been the best supported deck, though Ascendant Packleader and Hexdrinker are promising prints in that regard) and Birthing Pod decks. It should be insane in aristocrats-style...
