That's just because that's an easy way to represent a fraction. You can easily see this need not be the case, for example: (2 / 2 = 1) is equivalent to (2 * 0,5 = 1) There, no division symbol used ;)

This is a silly question. I wasn't involved in the design or development of Strixhaven, so of course I do not know "with certainty" that I understood that reason. However, I see a very clear pattern, and I see absolutely no urgent reason to deviate from that pattern.
