    General Custom Cards: The Lab

Yeah, that's basically Chaos Warp (which MaRo has called out of pie for red)

    General Custom Cards: The Lab

A blue lesson to use instead of Mercurial Transformation (darn, I see I made this a common... oh well...) Art link Is {2}{U} too cheap for this as a lesson? Probably, right?

    Sets (VOW) Crimson Vow

I've settled on Drake Haven, Faith of the Devoted, and Lazotep Chancellor. I think Faith is more interesting than Dreadful Service because it attacks on another angle and helps keep you alive at the same time.

I think a 3/4 vigilance at 3 mv is super annoying regardless. These aren't the stats I'm happiest with.

Not 4 power (or greater), mana value 4 or greater!

Ooooh, this is a cool card for ninja's! Evasive one drop + gives evasion to one of your ninja's later. Damn...

Oh shit, I totally didn't mean it that way! I just meant Train has a bigger focus on curve considerations and a preference for a bit higher power level than a lot of folks here. And if you know that about his environment, it should be no suprise that he is interested in an on rate green midrange...

    Sets (VOW) Crimson Vow

It's not as puzzling if you know what kind of cards his environment is looking for ;) Edit: To clarify (after blacksmithy's comment showed my meaning was entirely unclear), this wasn't meant in a mean way. I actually meant that if you understand Train's cube, you understand that this should be...

General Tournament of Champions: Community Sealed Event

As a Kansas fan, I approve of this deck name!

Oops, yeah, I meant median. That's my non-native English confusing two words. Interesting that it doesn't change the trend much.

Hehe, I notice you can't see it, but I actually quoted the [V]indicate :D It's so simple, but it works on every angle, even the card name and flavor text!

Hahahaha, this is the best one yet! In fact, I don't think any meme cleave card can beat this :') I wonder how the numbers look if you exclude sets with DFC's. We have been getting a lot of those recently, and they are probably the wordiest cards out there. I might be wrong, but I'm assuming...

I don't think they were talking about cleave in particular, just that kicker in general isn't used enough, and that the resulting number of different keywords is wrecking the game. This isn't an opinion I share, by the way.

    Sets (VOW) Crimson Vow

This is a fallacy, I think. Less text does not necessarily mean cleaner, particularly in this case. You yourself admit the card might be subjectively harder to parse for some people. See also Dead Ringers, which didn't use a lot of text, but still confused people all the time. The mechanic to...

    Sets (VOW) Crimson Vow

If you have three creatures when you cast this, you can pay 8 mana over 3 turns to draw three cards. That doesn't seem all that exciting at all, to be honest  You've got some hoops to jump through, and then it's still slow and expensive. Mazemind Tome is also slow (if you want to...

Honestly? This mechanic should have been saved for Kamigawa Neon, and be called 'reprogram' or something like that.

    General Custom Cards: The Lab

I had a conversation with Train about Mardu cards, and how they don't really pull you into those colors, but rather reward you for ending up in them. He joked about how Naya has better aggro support than the aggro wedge, at lower rarities, and that's when it hit me... Art link Amirite? PS...
