Haha, I used that wording before, but they actually changed it. Check out the Oracle wording for cards like Upwelling and Mana Short. I swear I had to change the card six times before arriving at the final wording above, because each time I found a new bit of wording that isn't in use anymore...

Yeah, he shows some really nice interactions, like Trinket Mage + Black Lotus = storm counter +2 for free :) I love how he always stays calm, even when things blow up in his face.

I think you're being too harsh on the new mechanics. Surveil and jump-start are excellent value mechanics, and I expect all of the new mechanics to play well. I'm actually excited about riot, looks like great flexibility.
