    General [Contest] A Good Omen!

I thought it would be cool to design around the fact that you are going to be able to draw your Omen again and again over the course of a game. Not only that, but to try and make a card that gets better the more times you draw it. One way to make sure of seeing a card more often is by milling...

    General Fight Club

Favorites first 1. Siege: Crucible effects are in demand in your cube because of the landfall and self-mill archetypes. This one clearly signals that you should be doing some GY/land shenanigans and the mill mode is a really fun goal to work towards in a Labman deck or as a mill win condition...

    General Riptide's P1P1 Thread

There is the Epiphany as well and Gravecrawler is a really solid enabler for the Roots. Also, Earthcraft, Gravecrawler and Altar is infinite storm and mill if you have another zombie (also infinite squirrels with Chatterstorm). It’s my cube and most of the token stuff is about using them as...

    General Riptide's P1P1 Thread

Not a P1P1 but I’d love some input. Drafted this so far, not sure where to go from there. I need zombies for Gravecrawler, but Grave-Troll is a solid enabler. Roots goes off hard with the Gravecrawler and the token generators. What would you take and why?

Sets (TDM & TDC) Tarkir: Dragonstorm Testing/Includes Thread!

I was bummed that the 3 color hybrid cards didn’t fit into any of my cubes as I think they are pretty neat. Then it hit me, I have the perfect cube for them from a previous contest (The Omlette Cube). It’s built around 30 copies of Chromatic Star so fixing isn’t a problem. This means I can add...

That deck looks like a blast. If the Skyray is good enough, have you tried Ivora, Insatiable Heir? Is both a scaling payoff and enabler, with counters and artifact synergies. The trample could tie in with Berserkers too. I am strongly considering her for my cube, curious on your evaluation.

    Nanonox's 1vs1 cube

This is a good point and I'm not opposed to alternatives. For example, I regularly consider adding Lotus Petal to the cube to bolster the combo decks. In the right circumstances, an aggro deck could play it as an acceleration piece but it would be far from automatic and more balanced than Chrome...

    Sets (TDM) Tarkir: Dragonstorm Previews!

I get what you are saying, but I actually don't mind that. I like my cube decks messy, where you have to branch out because you didn't draft the perfect deck. In the context of this card, maybe you have to branch out to an artifact deck and build a Scrap Trawler engine. Maybe you need to lean...

    Sets (TDM) Tarkir: Dragonstorm Previews!

It's definitely slow, but I am trying out in my mid powered cube as well and I am excited to have another spell velocity payoff (that isn't as strong as Monastery Mentor). This is my 4th spell velocity card in White and I am excited with the spread of payoffs and the different speeds they offer...

At 384 (3 packs of 16), I run Fetch Fetch Shock Shock Surveil Very happy with both the density and the quality of the fixing. I aim for 2.5 color decks because I want players to be able to branch out and build the coolest engines possible. Double shocks + tapped surveils limit how greedy you...

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

I think you got most of them tbh. Here are some extras that you might enjoy Engineered Explosives Since the card probably goes into more midrange decks, having a wrath at your disposal fits the gameplan against aggro. Scrabbling Claws If you have a toolbox, you need tools! This is...
