    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

I'm a huge fan of Tooth and Nail myself. Perfect carrot at the end of the stick for the ramp players to chase after.

I spend more than an hour a day at work trying to keep up with the forums, and I can baaaaaarely do it. There's always some new post around the corner.

    Jonas 360 Cube

Do it! I'm not a huge fan of any of those three faeries in cube (Pestermite maybe only if you run Swords), and Delver is at least a potential build-around. edit: geez I missed the entire last page again before I posted I really need to learn how to use these forums

General Auras: Do they all suck?

I don't disagree with that notion, especially if you want to give cube a Legacy-lite feel, where games are tight affairs fought over inches, and every battle is hard-won. But there's also something to be said for dialing down the removal suite a notch, which allows a whole host of other cards...

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

I initially thought it was overpowered, but with cube curves generally being higher than Eternal-format curves, I'm now a huge fan of Dark Confidant. Great balance of risk and reward. Without being able to build decks with constructed-level consistency, Bloodbraid Elf has been surprisingly...

General Auras: Do they all suck?

I think FSR is very much on the money here. For the beneficial auras to be at all viable, I think a lot of the de facto cube removal would have to be toned down. In particular, instant speed removal at one and two mana. Bolt, Swords, Path, and Dismember would all have to hit the bench in a cube...

General Life Gain as a Thing

Yeah, in my 20 fetch 20 shock 10 painland cube, Path of Bravery would be pretty comical. The three colour decks here typically start the game at ~15ish life, and sometimes drop down further if they've grabbed a handful of Karplusan Forest and friends in the utility land draft.

General Life Gain as a Thing

bad, I ran it before in my very first attempt to support black aggro, it was worse than Vampire Lacerator Blood Artist is fun, I would double up on that. Two Kitchen Finks feels like it would be supremely annoying though Pristine Talisman?

Card/Deck Tezzeret (either one) and making them work in cube

I ran that for a while, and was always frustrated by its coming into play tapped, as well as not making coloured mana. Most decks that ran it would've preferred Coldsteel Heart, Everflowing Chalice, or Mind Stone, as the 'manland' activation never really came up.

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

Yeah, Tezzeret's Gambit and Volt Charge strike me as the only two playable proliferate cards, unless you count Contagion Clasp. I think they're both a smidge below the bar on power level for most traditional cube lists, but this forum is the place to look for unconventional cubes, anyways.

    General Multicolor Cycle Cube

Be careful with cycles. As I told one of my regulars who's starting to build his own cube - which coincidentally also has a heavy multicolor slant with lots of cycles - cycles don't inherently impress anyone except the designer. When you're drafting, and you see a bunch of good cards and along...

General 'walkers and "everything costs 4"

Yeah, I'd say I limit artifacts as well, partly because of their universality and partly because I hated running Torch Fiend, Manic Vandal, Ingot Chewer, and Smash to Smithereens all at once. And that was just in red. Still, though, don't let anyone here stop you from ranting. In actual fact...

    Card/Deck [MCD] Equipment

Thanks! I suspected as much, that like Lightning Greaves, this samurai polearm is more of a green midrange enabler. I may just try it out in the boots' place, in fact.

    Article [M14] Archangel of Thune

Alright, I'm convinced. Slotting it in for my next list of changes. Smite! That's genius! I like that it's similar to Condemn, but is a little more restrictive in forcing you to have a blocker. You are a well of good ideas, my good man. I think I may have asked you this before, but - any...

    Card/Deck [MCD] Equipment

How has O-Naginata been for you? At first glance, it seems like it'd be almost unusable in white or red aggro, which are two decks that generally appreciate having cheap equipment.

General 'walkers and "everything costs 4"

So.. how many walkers in a cube is too many? I'm trying to figure out if my last draft's midrange-fest was because I went up to fifteen walkers, or due to other factors. It probably doesn't help that I've since added in two more walkers, bringing the total to seventeen...
