General Post your 1-2 and 2-1 decklists

Yeah, I only see 2-3 cards in this list that I don't run. No utility lands is also a difference, but this looks like a usable gauntlet list. Thanks!

I am all for running the cards that place minor deckbuilding / drafting incentives.

I don't view WOTC as the ogre here, but I think part of their job is community management. I haven't followed the details of this much (read: at all), but I assume they are within their rights to whatever their reactions are. However, they can do themselves further financial damage by alienating...

Yeah, but the name "Grid Drafting" is pretty dope, right? :)

Yeah, I'm sorry, not anything can be done about that. The grids are based on screenshots (of the RL forums), and the card images are from the database they use, so there is some mismatch. Sorry submarine!

    Iteration Synergy Cube

If you read Rosewater talk about Ravnica design, he actually talks about letting there be a slower and faster way to play each color pairing. I would try to keep this in mind when designing.

Define worse. Color commitments and interactability are cool. Don't let everyone poo-poo Venser.

Should note: any program set up for drafting exists in a very "grey" area. There's a reason CT doesn't do interactive Grid Drafting. Either way, I like the idea of expanding what it means to draft.

*SPOILERS* Star Wars: The Force Awaken

I liked it. Your list of critiques felt pretty spot on. Rylo killing Han felt very similar to Darth killing Obi Wan. Both stood there and took it while an emerging Jedi watched on. The new bot felt good. The film started quite well, but as you say, ended routinely. Hopefully they can take...

I thought you were saying, why are we doing 3 packs of 15 when we could do something else entirely?

I'll read this whole post later, but basically, ULD works because the cards don't occupy any of the ~23 spell slots. Cube is already heavy on cuts, and if I'm giving away a lot of spells, I want my players to build 45 card decks. This causes other issues, but I think it's an issue to consider.
