Shizo, Death's Storehouse Probably not, but I saw it and thought I'd catalog it.

Well, way back when I ran double Bloodghast, which I really liked, except for the running two {B}{B} spells. I also like that sometimes you'll hit something else with it, be it Lingering Souls or a Gravecrawler or a Shambling Remains or Hell's Thunder or Vengevine. Ideally I would like it to...

Kind of. I really like how Converge played in BFZ, so I'm testing Wanderer and Radiant Flames. Wanderer certainly powerful enough, but maybe it will get cut for some vague "lameness" criterion.

The most common play is probably Entomb for Bloodghast on Turn 2, play a land, play a 1-drop.

    Jason Waddell's Cube

I updated the OP, which was way out of date. Not sure what I should do about CubeTutor, sample a random iteration of the cube and throw it up on there?

Single Card Spotlight, Minor Graveyard Support edition: Centaur Vinecrasher Oh, this thing says ALL graveyards? What a beefy dude. Green's 4s are pure beef. I know I can do a multislot, but here is its competition in my cube: Polukranos, World Eater Vengevine Obstinate Baloth Thrun, the Last...

Well, fortunately the cards cost a combined 8 cents on MODO so I'm going to go ahead and just test them.

Modern players disagree, but I'm willing concede that even if not more powerful in cube (conditions may be different enough in cube to tilt the scales), Tombstalker is perhaps more interesting. Cards like Tombstalker do make Gather the Pack more interesting. It puts 5 cards in the yard, digs...

To make them not weak, we need to increase the quantity of incentives. To me this means: cards that want to be in the graveyard in (here's the important part) decks that want to play sorcery speed 2-mana conditional impulses. Do I bite the bullet and run Gurmag Angler? (right now I only run...

    Magic has too many cards.

Related to land ramp: lately I've been really into cards that put lands into your hand. Just being able to hit your land every turn is super powerful. Maybe it's too much BFZ Sealed for me, but I was incredibly impressed with how much Fertile Thicket smooths out draws, and it has play in decks...

How bottlenecked do you get on mana? Obviously I have dreams of combining that card with repeatable sac outlets to slowly grind through their army.

Follow up: if you ran Entomb (and no reanimation), what cards would you legitimately entomb for?

Stuff that put stuff in the yard: Thought Scour Jace, Vryn's Prodigy Thought Scour Satyr Wayfinder Faithless Looting Survival of the Fittest Entomb Drown in Filth Verdant Catacombs Gather the Pack Commune with the Gods Tasigur, the Golden Fang Sidisi, Brood Tyrant Izzet Charm Forbidden Alchemy...

It's probably dumb, but I'm currently testing Satyr Wayfinder in the place of Sakura Tribe Elder. I'd like to introduce more minor graveyard elements to my cube, but haven't fully pulled the trigger on it yet.
