I mean, it's kind of a split card, in the sense that part of the spell is relevant in the early game but not late, and vice versa. I think I would focus more on tying the two parts together somehow. But I don't have any great ideas.

I've never actually played it, so I can't attest to its merits. A beer per lap sounds like a lot. What's a typical Mario Kart level, like 3 laps in 5 minutes? You know your tolerances better than I do, but I can't imagine that amounts to a lot of racing. Maybe every time you wipe-out you have...

Also, the creature he leaves behind can't block, so I don't think it'll be a huge contributor of board stall.

It's such a satisfying synergy. I wonder how far you would have to push library manipulation to make it playable in a traditional cube.

Yeah, I think this is about what I expected when I previewed the card. But I'm open to somebody quoting me and making me look really dumb.

I don't think it's possible for this to be busted, is it? The only option is that drafters are undervaluing it? Is it always a slam P1P1 for you guys? Does it get taken at the first opportunity each time?

Can you tell us a bit more about what you're trying to do with GW? Maybe that would help.
