    Forum Aesthetics and Usability

Hi guys. We had a chat today about possible improvements to the forum functionality and aesthetics, and would appreciate any and all feedback so that we can make improvements. Keep in mind these are all software related, not content related. Some questions: What do you like about these forums...

The only units we ever made up were "incomps", which were units measuring amount of incompetence.

Yeah, I've seen that errata before, but... eh. I'm not against it, but don't find it strictly necessary either. Creature type errata gives a lot of interesting options (e.g. Rebels), but I wonder if there's a certain point where you're not just better served by entirely custom cards.

Well, Zombies without breaking singleton is just weak sacrifice/recursion stuff. The only card I run that cares about Zombies is Gravecrawler (4x, admitedly). Jim hit the head on the interesting part of it though. They give you a deck that performs differently (lots of play / interaction)...

How do the rules work if the player only has one-card in hand?

General A Thought About Two Player Drafting

I understand the dynamic, but I don't know how well liked it would be. It feels like being extra-spikey just to be extra-spikey, and the system isn't very clean either. Especially when the goal is to get there to be more competition for cards. Also, one of the biggest issues with two-player...

Tribal zombie decks have proved to be fun, well integrated, powerful and most importantly still fun. What other tribes could be awesome in cube and not totally stupid?

I wonder what the most fun you could make with $100 would be. Somebody should start a thread / project.

Flavor fail. Choose two, they discard one.

Somebody needs to build a Sneak Attack + Blood Artist + Bloodghast + Squee, Goblin Nabob deck

This "second cube" idea you describe is exactly what I am trying to do with my Eldrazi Domain cube. It's a lot of work, but very fun work!

I attended 8 straight hours of meetings in Dutch today (with a two-hour commute on both ends of the day), so now my brain is a pot of melted butter. Somewhere in the world, somebody has the job of listening to songs and asking the question "would this song be great for a Grey's Anatomy montage?".

Thought exercise: can anybody describe to me an environment wherein Sneak Attack is a fun and healthy cube card?

Sweet, glad to hear the article was useful! Keep up the work, this is looking like a fun cube.

Well, I worked for Major League Gaming and hung out in hotel rooms playing Smash with all the big names. You can enter the ring, but I think I'll walk away with the nerd crown in this domain. Except for the fact that I'm not actually very good at Smash.

I'm just going to name-drop here and say I played SSBM with Ken. He beat me with Game and Watch. It was incredible.
