I feel like I would only cube this card if I had some sort of strange theme it contributed to or if I was already playing every rampant growth and fertile ground that cost less than it.

This card is a two colour bear with 2 conditional abilities that don't come without expense. I feel like we can probz do better.

Yeah it also doesn't help that ultility removal like vindicate or oblivion ring are super slow and usually necessary to trade down in early turns against an aggressive opponent. Then you have to fight off some dumbass attrition machine like jitte or ajani and your ring already has an accorder...

Yeah I guess walkers were surviving because the enemy needed their creatures to block lol! When I've played a lot of walkers I'd have like baby jace and tamiyo out and no creatures and I'd be like lol, which one do you wana kill before I draw the removal spell.

I love that it plays like 3-4 creatures that have even thought about blocking in their whole lives and like a million planeswalkers.

Seems great with token themes and like tradewind/blue devotion decks. Seems like an auto include in tribal cube.

I like that prowess continues to enable minor spells matter themes. I like that it's weak enough of an ability that it doesn't inflate the price of the card.

It's all mythology and golden years CML. I'm not convinced it made it better, just more easily storied and less accessible
