This is a thread to discuss the new ideas coming from rival forum BTP. I know most of their stuff is pretty bullshit for the sake of being bullshit, but this one struck me as interesting. Obviously it's one of their tamer (more usable) ideas.

The biggest problem (for me) is how they go directly against the Utility Land Draft. I don't think the two should be run together.

Sorry, what I meant is that a flipped delver, as just a 3/2, needs evasion, but Gurmag Angler, as a 5/5, generally doesn't. So the extra mana cost of Tombstalker in exchange for flying generally isn't worth it. We're on the same page here.
