3/3 was too strong, and 4/4 would be outrageously good I think. I use the past tense because I haven't run my cube in a long time, not because I took them out.

My final package was 3-Cloud, 2-Glimmer. That felt about right for a 40-card deck.

The same thing should work with 12 packs per player, instead of 9. You still get 36 picks, taking one from each pack and discarding the remaining ones.

Not only is it narrow in effect, it is narrow in terms of color requirements. I can't imagine a reasonable cube that wants this card.

For all the years I have played Magic, Gatherer hasn't worked correctly. Set a query and tell it to "sort by user rating", and it never sorts it. You have to let it do the query, then re-sort it after that.

Yeah, I don't think it's a bad starting point. Everybody's natural inclination seems to be to overload gold. I remember painfully cutting to 6 gold cards per guild at one point, before making the adjustment to 3 per guild.
