You and your creatures represent a Party, and you Venture in together. So when you only have Fifty Feet of Rope, that just means you're playing a Solo Campaign like in this Stephen Colbert adventure!
Think smaller! Play this with a sacrifice outlet like Viscera Seer or Goblin Bombardment, activate the {B}{B}{B} ability to draw 7, and while the Trigger is on the stack sacrifice this to the outlet. Since this card disappears before the draw 7 resolves, you never exile them!

I'm mostly running these cards as a value plays for White decks. White doens't really get a lot of ways to generate hard card advantage, which is totally fine for 1V1 Magic, but I really like it when players have lots of options...
This is a testing/includes thread. Post pictures or a text list using /c with what cards you plan to include and what cards you plan to test.
Including:
(I really hate the art on Power Word Kill, so I may end up not including it in the end, but it is good enough to be worth inclusion in my...
I thought writing my top 10 article for this set was going to be difficult given how many truly great cards there are, turns out there are actually quite a few cards I was able to talk about and I was never grasping for any straws. This set isn't great, but it's actually not bad either.
If you support an aggro deck I'm partial to:
Rakdos Cackler
It's a nice little 1-drop that can be a great damage source in both aggressive Red and Black decks.
I may have needed more Smelt type effects and fewer Burst Lightnings in order to keep the artifact-based hate in check. Embereth Shieldbreaker may have been a good option because it is two spells for the price of one card.
I think Tinder Wall allowing for an "oops, I did my storm on my first...
I'm not sold on needing 1WWW (including a colorless land) in order to try this "combo." It seems very janky except for the 1% of the time it actually works, in which case it's just annoying. This exceeds Chain of Smog levels of gimmicky.
Ojutai at home. Hexproof becomes Ward {4} and Anticipate becomes a flat Draw with a Pokémon TCG-esque draw up effect. It is a bit odd that the Blue dragon is the one that lives in the Desert, but I think that has something to do with D&D lore that I am not aware of at this time.
I might end up...
This is probably one of the better cards in the set. It starts as an on-curve creature, becomes a mini Luminarch Aspirant that isn't susceptible to removal, and finally turns into a Vizier of the Menagerie.
Ranger class is pretty good, and can make it into all but the fastest of Cubes for...
I think it's very environment-dependent, but I think Gonti, Lord of Luxury is a much better card. It has a more defensive body, and the ability to draw a relevant card more often. I think Gonti is really good here.
