Creatures have other benefits as well - at least in my cube, it's a lot easier to tutor for and recur Reclamation Sage compared to Naturalize. (obviously it's very difficult to tutor for Naturalize because it's not in the cube, but if it were)

There's two main reasons I don't like hand disruption: there's no counterplay, and it takes some of the unpredictability out of the game. At least with other disruption like counterspells you can play around them.
