I just added up my proposed white section on MTGO Traders and it runs 53 dollars. That's probably fairly representative for the colored sections? I can't imagine Red costing much, but maybe Blue has some surprises. Lands will be the most expensive section. Wasteland may get the axe for budget...

Okay, I was thinking about building one so that we could generate content (record matches and actually put them on CFB, for example), but I'm not sure the best way to go about it. Take donations? Kickstart it somehow? Bite the bullet and buy it? Sell my paper cube?

I think it only works if you're also holding lots of other instant speed goodness. Casting this as just a 1/4 has to feel like ass for 3 mana. Even still, even in near ideal scenarios you're looking at eating a spell and having a 1/4 left behind. The BCS isn't that high and the WCS is ass.

I'm fine with french vanilla that you have to jump through some hoops for. I'm also putting Tribal Flames in my list, and Radiant Flames, and Volt Charge and Tezzeret's Gambit. Been missing having some nice multicolor incentives in the main 360.

Yeah, but mostly looking at building a Domain-esque theme into my main cube. 6/6 Vigilance Trample is a fun-feeling reward, and any proliferate shenanigans on top of that is bonus.

Whenever I watch a MTGO Cube video I ask myself "are there more Planeswalkers in play than non-basic lands" and I'm usually disappointed.

A big problem with Tinker as a "fair" card is that it's pretty difficult to find cards that feel "fair" while cheated out while still being worth playing when not cheated. I'm not sure to what extent this can be realistically designed around. I would imagine a high-density of artifacts in the...
