    Jason Waddell's Cube

Hey, great question. What I found was that the mana fixing was being taken really highly, and it wasn't balanced correctly in terms of creating a nice tension between taking fixing and taking lands that do things. I still have some fixing, but it is of decidedly lower power level. I feel like...

Yeah, but, see, I'm trying to push a certain theme so I can't just, you know, jam the most objectively powerful card at all slots.

After some testing, Pridemates indeed get huge, but they have difficulty pushing through damage at times because they just get chumped for days. Rancor and Kessig Wolf Run helped in my Naya build, but the BW build ran into trouble. Zuran Orb was the most fun card of the archetype to play with...

    Card/Deck Counterspells

I've long felt that the strength of my blue tempo decks largely depended on my counterspell density. Maybe that's why other people have struggled with getting Delver decks to work?

What do you guys have as your counterspell density? I am running 14 monoblue counterspells (if you count Stifle...) in 360. I imagine this is on the high side, but I also don't really feel like it's excessive. Thoughts?

Yeah, it's a long format, kind of meant to fill a lot of time if you and a buddy are sitting around with hours to kill. You can also play 1-game matches for time considerations.
