After some testing, Pridemates indeed get huge, but they have difficulty pushing through damage at times because they just get chumped for days. Rancor and Kessig Wolf Run helped in my Naya build, but the BW build ran into trouble. Zuran Orb was the most fun card of the archetype to play with...

I've long felt that the strength of my blue tempo decks largely depended on my counterspell density. Maybe that's why other people have struggled with getting Delver decks to work?

I only saw it on the table once. It went something like this: "Swing, gain 4, damage." "Okay, I take 4." "No, lifegain triggers first. I'm at 20 now. Take 8." "Sadface."

What do you mean by non-aggro specifically? Control? Combo? I am particularly fond of red's 2 and 3 mana wipes. I'd say to start looking at what other format's non-aggro red and white decks look like.
