    General Making Blue Do Things

I feel like we spend too much time trying to make colors attack. Not that it's a bad thing, but, part of say, the Innistrad design is that they intentionally put in more open-ended archetypes. I understand the desire to mix things up, but maybe we could focus on making blue control as compelling...

I think the blink deck is a huge myth and Crystal Shard has never ever once been good in any of my drafts.

    General Making Blue Do Things

I'm going to ask the question I always ask in these situations: are there any examples of blue doing something in constructed that you find to be interesting?

It's just a dude but: Augur of Bolas Ninja gets significantly better when you can rebuy sweet things like Snapcaster and Spellstutter Sprite. I can see why it works in Modern / Pauper, but I don't know that those things translate.

    Stand-Up Comedy Deflowering

Close enough. It starts off slow, but around three minutes or so I start to hit my groove.

Wait, so, it eats the image and the image doesn't eat back, correct?

Card/Deck Tezzeret (either one) and making them work in cube

Well, I know it's not really used (at least nearly as commonly) in the Starcraft 2 scene, so it's use must have surely declined by virtue of the (near) death of the console shooter scene. Which thread are we in again?

Card/Deck Tezzeret (either one) and making them work in cube

The use of that term was undoubtedly the most abhorrent aspect of MLG culture.

    General Multicolor Cycle Cube

Out of curiosity, what non-land cycles exist out there that are actually worth including in their entirety in a regular cube? The Titans? The Dark Confidant/Tarmogoyf cycle?

Yeah, but the point was basically to show off that I can do basic arithmetic, in case any of you had doubts. :)

    Article ChannelFireball: Utility Land Draft

I actually don't think it'd be that "hella big" in my cube. Rough numbers here: 79 nonbasics per draft (47 in the main cube 32 (8x4) from the utility land draft) Assuming all of those get played, and 17 card decks, that means you're looking at about 7 basic lands per deck, or about 41% of the...

    General The Constructed thread

I don't know if the Modern analogs really can be made as arguments. Wizards bans to achieve a desired metagame, and from that perspective I don't know that a banning can be considered to be "valid" or "invalid". I guess if you had some measurable metric like "format diversity", one could argue...

General Decks that have 3-0'd your cube

CML, why do your cube decks always have the ugliest curves? If they were a girl, they'd only post Myspace-angled headshots on their OkCupid profile.

    General The Constructed thread

Like, what's the end game here? If everybody is like "you're right CML, there's not much money in playing Magic 'professionally'", do you "win"? I just don't know why the "there's no money in Magic" schtick has to be hammered so hard all the time.
