I think the blink deck is a huge myth and Crystal Shard has never ever once been good in any of my drafts.

I'm going to ask the question I always ask in these situations: are there any examples of blue doing something in constructed that you find to be interesting?

It's just a dude but: Augur of Bolas Ninja gets significantly better when you can rebuy sweet things like Snapcaster and Spellstutter Sprite. I can see why it works in Modern / Pauper, but I don't know that those things translate.

I don't know if the Modern analogs really can be made as arguments. Wizards bans to achieve a desired metagame, and from that perspective I don't know that a banning can be considered to be "valid" or "invalid". I guess if you had some measurable metric like "format diversity", one could argue...

Like, what's the end game here? If everybody is like "you're right CML, there's not much money in playing Magic 'professionally'", do you "win"? I just don't know why the "there's no money in Magic" schtick has to be hammered so hard all the time.
