Yeah, of all the ideas here, adoption of the forum sig may be the most successful. People on MTGS are already uh... in the Magic forum demo, and if they see quality posters all repping the sig maybe that generates interest.

One of my 4-man ideas was to do something like 6 packs, but after each pick you shuffle and randomly remove one card from the pack. Then you all draft ~45 cards while still seeing 360 cards. It's not perfect, but maybe pointing in that direction might yield results?

Regardless, I don't think that having aggro only represented in two primary colors is ideal for a number of reasons. I have been much more satisfied with aggro and control each spread around the colors, versus other cube configurations where red is virtually 100% aggro and some colors are like...

The most pleasing feedback I've gotten on the various Gravecrawler archetypes is that they are really challenging to play against. It's like an evolving puzzle you have to solve, but you always have some tools.

Yeah, I've been known to say that even 6-man drafting is significantly worse than 8-man drafting. I haven't spent a lot of time thinking about 4-man drafts because I haven't done one in years. The last time we had 4 (a year ago?) we busted out Team Sealed of the Eldrazi Domain cube.

Sweetest card of the new Gravecrawler archetype: Innocent Blood Unique removal that both hardcore aggro and control want? Check and mate. Last 8-man a player beat a Deathrite Shaman -> T2 Geist of Saint Traft opening via Innocent Blood + Snapcaster Innocent Blood.

All of this actually sounds pretty awesome and memorable.

I love Oracle of Mul Daya but wish it were pushed just a weeee bit further. Cost 3? Some real P/T? The effect is neat, but oh so flimsy at 4 mana.
