Yeah it’s like every three months they find a new way for UB to hurt the players. Last time it was the inclusion into Standard. Now it’s the duplicate legendaries. If anyone didn’t know: 2026 will have more UB sets than Magic sets. It’s going to be 6 vs 5.

Still wouldn’t be a fan even if they hit the nail on the head with some cute memes or excellent designs or even with settings that look very Magic-like. UB doesn’t move the story forward. Zero lore. Just a cash grab and nothing more. This game is not for the fans anymore. It’s for the next fans.

You could go one step further (actually all the way further) If you can cast the card then you can use the card. Just like any other format. Want to include your white card in your mono black deck even though you have no mana to be able to cast it? Sure, go for it. Just like you can do in Standard.
