Hey there was that one time that French guy won a pro tour or something with a 61 card deck. It happens. It's all just a bunch of statistics that I for one am ill equipped to work out, so I'm open to the possibility of running 41+ cards. Sometimes 23 spells and 18 lands feels right.

So I've been rewriting the utilitylanddraft page and I just hit the point where my code became so much of a mess that I'm giving up for today. accccccccccch

When Jason came and stayed with me in London we had a cube draft and he opened old Sorin. He said "This card should not be in your cube." So I just took it out and instead he got a Remand added to his pack and we were just much happier to have that in the draft.

But is it worth running at all?

Wow boy am I glad I was reading this thread! I didn't know anybody remembered that/I only vaguely remember posting my tokens. I'm working on a Goblin token right now, it's basically Ishi-Ishi when he's middle-aged and bored. It's coming along great :) I wanted to post here to really belatedly...

Good point. Now I'm questioning whether that slot even needs to be there.

One time I drafted after a ptq with a bunch of people I didn't know. Watching this guy cackle with glee as he drafted a sweet pod deck was one of my favorite moments as a cube designer. We didn't get to play any games but everyone had enjoyed drafting so much that it didn't matter.

I like having variety, I think it's fun. I run one of each.

Well first off, sorry Eric I can't actually see this thread. Dunno what you can do about that. I'm unemployed and now and then I get on a massive web design kick. I don't really know what I'm doing but I'm learning and having fun! The utilility land draft site is now at this point...

Yet another thing websockets would be good for. (I just tried to set up my utility land draft website on the riptide servers and couldn't do it in the end because they don't support websockets.)

I don't think they're worth running. Being able to hit a creature with Write into Being almost every time is amazing. I wouldn't pay WW1 for a flying lifelink 2/2 or UU1 for the other one. Not in cube anyway.

I like griddrafting most. Microsealed is awesome. There is also another one my friend invented with me this one time. I'll try to explain. Uhhh can't do it, I'll have to take pictures. It was really fun.
