I think they should do Dragonlance Chronicles, but keep the dice and dungeons the hell away from it.

I like these. I don't use hybrids yet, but eventually I'd like to find ten that I like, so this is nice to see. Knowledge SeekerTwin BladesYuyan ArchersMomo, Rambunctious RascalThe Mechanist, Aerial ArtisanRaven EagleProfessor Zei, AnthropologistMessenger Hawk Messenger Hawk is an interesting...

I did this on MTGO for a short while, but the thrill wore off fairly quickly for me. I just felt bad for durdling around with my extra turns while the opponent waited. On the other hand, this never got old for me: Kuldotha Forgemaster If I only had two other artifacts, I'd sometimes have the...

I've considered some of those, so you're hitting the right notes. I think either of the delve creatures could be good, and I've considered Body Double. Syr Conrad is interesting - it's similar to Dreadhound which I ran for a little while but nobody has played yet. I might go for Tolarian Terror...

I broke singleton on Noose Constrictor because it's an important support card in green for multiple archetypes, and I wanted two copies of that more than I wanted one plus a Wild Mongrel. I wouldn't feel bad about bumping it to three copies if the cube needs to get larger. I similarly have two...

A 6 player draft happened! This is only the second time I've managed a draft with 6+ players, so I was very happy. This time, all of the players had a reasonable level of experience, so we didn't have to coach anybody on how to build their deck or anything. This time we ran the cube at 288...

I thought I was a pretty good Scryfall nerd, but this is a level up. Tip of the cowboy hat to you.

I made a 5 color version and got a chance to do a 7 player draft! cubecobra.com/cube/list/mediumcomplexity It's currently 294 cards to support 7 player draft with 3 packs x 14 cards. A few of us were familiar with the 4 color version, so adding blue wasn't a huge leap. The others included a...

I'd love to see more simple hybrid cards at common and uncommon in retail draft sets. Like, give me a 3/2 menace creature for {2}{B/R} and a 2/2 flier for {2}{W/U} (e.g. Trusted Pegasus / Aerial Guide). I'd go for a {R/G} Giant Growth/Brute Force. A hybrid combat trick would be great, because I...

What part of MtG are you referring to as the base game, out of curiosity?

That sounds super fun. I'm so conflicted about tutors. I love playing them, but I haven't put any in my cube because I suspect they're unhealthy in some ways. But part of me is dying to run stuff like Formidable Speaker and Imperial Recruiter.

I'll stick with cube cards. But if I was doing overall cards, my list would be different - it would include some blue and green revised edition stuff, some artifact deck and elves deck stuff from 2010's MTGO 100 card singleton, some MTGA red aggro stuff, and so on. Pentavus I think this is my...

I think it's great to have more formats like this, as long as a critical mass of players is having enough fun to make it work. It gives more cards a home and more different decks that people can play. If the games are fun and people like it, that's all that really matters. Making an old format...

I forgot about the welcome decks. I also like these designs (functionally): Lethal ProtectionGhost-Spider, Gwen StacyThe Mary Janes Lethal Protection is a little too slow, but it's not actually that far off for my cube. I really like menace as an evasion mechanic. It's so much more...

Best of luck with the new chapter! This seems like a great approach. When you're pretty content with the cube anyway, you can hang back and wait for the one new card that really appeals to you instead of trying to do a lot.

Cards that I like apart from the flavor: Swarm, Being of BeesAgent VenomHobgoblin, Mantled MarauderRaging GoblinoidsSpider IslandersMultiversal PassageVillainous Wrath Swarm's stats and rules text are appealing to me. Kitchen Imp really needed to be a 3 drop instead of a 4 drop. This set's...

Yeah, me too. I think I'm gonna have to look into the universes within thing after seeing this card.

Japahn once remarked that Languish is actually better than Damnation in some situations since you can abuse the symmetry with a big creature on your side. In your cube, it looks like the black creatures that can abuse that would include Carrion Feeder, Fallen Angel, Nightmare, Gurmag Angler, and...

I think Kayla is fine and interesting for occasionals. This is where it needs the italics rules/flavor text that I usually hate. "Draft Weenies - 4, T, Discard all the cards in your hand...." On the Blue stun creatures, I would be ok with the Kraken in my cube but wouldn't want a 4/5 flier for...

I actually just put Arbiter of Woe on my shopping list today. I like it. I think it's my favorite of the 6 MV fliers, but I wanted to look at my options. I do like the idea of multi-purpose fatties, or fatties that have an ability from the graveyard. GravewakerKokusho, the Evening StarMiasma...
