Of course, I got some favorites, but I
really love to have a lot of different art on my basic lands.
One aspect of MtG I friggin love is that the style in which most of the art is drawn (combined with the frame of the particular time) refers to the time it was created.
For example, I'm born in 1992. As a child, I watched a lot of cartoons on TV, mainly ones who were produced in the decades before (70s, 80s, 90s). There were some special drawing-styles to them, too, and although I'm far from being an artist or art critic, I really like Magic because its art often refers to (or remembers of) certain points in time at which there were certain influences affecting the work of artists.
Gempalm Polluters art somewhat reminds me of Lucky Luke lol, or
Unholy Grotto looks like a place where Asterix went searching for something (don't remember the exact film, though). Even the landscapes in The Smurfs are something I just remembered while looking closely at Magic art. I know this sounds stupid, but it's some kind of nostalgia, and I've still got loads of examples (e.g. Ravnica referring somewhat to Harry Potter or LotR). I just love the art of landscapes in MtG and I certainly couldn't list all of them appealing to me in one way or another.
Maybe I'll find time tomorrow to search for the very favorites of mine.
