Transracial, at least at the moment means black --> white, at least in the popular consciousness, mostly from this woman:

So even if "Transracial Tefari" as West African --> East African makes technical sense, it seems unlikely that's the default reaction.

That whole wikipedia article is hilarious by the way. I'm no expert, but usually these articles are a touch more clinical in their approach. The one on white nationalism reads like a historical account, but this one on the other hand:
