I'd posit that a blue only slippery boggle would be fine in most cubes/limited/wherever stalker doth menace

While that might be true, we know for a fact that Gudul Lurker, Mist-Cloak Herald, Slither Blade, and Triton Shorestalker are completely harmless when compared to Slippery Bogle's track record (though check out Ken Yukuhiro's Mono-Blue Aggro deck from Japan's Nationals!

Yes, but that is 99% constructed. If you've got an untargetable 1/1 and an aura makes it broken, I think that's the aura's fault.
Not that I don't hate hexproof
I don't agree. The big trade off with an aura is the risk of being 2-for-1'd...that tends to balance out the power of the aura. If you take away that risk by enchanting an untargetable creature, the creature could be considered more the problem.

Yeah, sorry, but that hypothetical aura isn't making any other 1/1's broken, just specifically the ones with hexproof. That's telling, isn't it? I honestly think hexproof is one of the suckiest mechanics in the game, and it's way overused.
