Sets [EOE] Edge of Eternities

Am I the only person who has been misreading Warp? It just clicked for me that you have to pay for the cast-from-exile - for whatever reason my brain decided that Warp worked like Plotting or Suspending a card and you got to cast it for free later.

I thought it looked a little strong, but just chalked that up to power creep. :p

I always just imagine that after if you warp you go on an adventure!

this card sure does have a lot of words on it. sheesh.

It does the Ygra, Eater of All thing, but only for artifacts, so you can do some kind of Warren Soultrader + Cauldron Familiar thing still but you have to work harder for it. It's WR so that's not as likely to happen - though that vaguely fits with the slower Lorehold-style stuff from Strixhaven onwards, idk, maybe you go off with Samwise Gamgee and untap this a bunch to do... something, whatever.

It's interesting. But it feels wordy and my best guess is that part of that is just how much space on its name and type line are taken up by a totally-normal-style name and type combo, if that makes sense?

I feel like the advantage that Foodie Shrimp has is that it costs {R}{W} (instead of Ygra's {3}{B}{G}), so you can start doing food shenanigans way earlier. Also, that activated ability looks like it could offer a very aggressive clock in the right shell.

This is a cool build around. It does literally nothing, but comes down early and then helps you recoup the tempo loss. In my lower power cube you can use self-bounce, sacrifice and Welders to machine gun down a board.

I quite like this! Whether it's good is another question. I wish it applied in some way to other (noncreature?) artifact tokens that can sacrifice themselves like food but that might be too strong. It's really narrow in that you have to be an artifact deck that relies on non-tokens entering and need good ways to get rid of them, like you mentioned. I'm still cautiously optimistic as these cards are already in my cube:

Plus the welders and one of the Braids could make an appearance.

Cool bugs for the "what if green was colorless?" format I keep vaguely messing with.
It could give Gruul Artifacts a new spin and a bit more direction! I definitely like this guy and in contrast to the munitions it plays beautifully with all the random artifact tokens you can generate in green. Currently I am running Meria, Scholar of Antiquity but, although serviceable in some decks, it's too narrow for the artifact tokens space.

I like what I'm seeing so far!

The stats and abilities of the Cosmogrand seem too pushed for my tastes, but I do love flurry.

This guy is rock solid. Good stat and type line. Artifact AND creature plus fills the GY. Going to have to find room in my cubes (yes plural).

I like combo BS and having your win condition available for a turn for a single Red mana is a big game. Might not be better than Molten Gatekeeper, but it can be used with artifacts which can be a game changer depending on the cube.

In the same vein, another payoff for going off with creatures. You need a combo heavy cube to maximize it, but the base stats are good on their own.
