Try it. If it is oppressive cut it. If it is a strong card that makes the strongest decks stronger, cut it.
Be mindful about what card is actually oppressive:

The processor is the visible oppressor while the arena is often deemed not oppressive while it often is the oppressive card.

I think it will be an auto include. The saving grace is that it should play quite differently from deck to deck and fit into many archetypes.

Aggro loves a resilient beater and can make use of the counter synergy or use the life gain to trigger a Pridemate or something.

Midrange might blink it to stabilize or double up on a sacrifice outlet.

It could be annoying in a control deck against the aggro matchup if you block, get it back and then blink it. You gain 8 life and have 4 bodies for aggro to get through.

Last thing, it tends to signal persist combo which I don’t know if you support or not.

It is even good in draw go control, I.e, counterburn. So yes, it is quite good in lower powered cubes which are not creature spell centric. It even rewards playing spells before combat, so that’s a fun angle.
