Card/Deck Low Power Card Spotlight

Try it. If it is oppressive cut it. If it is a strong card that makes the strongest decks stronger, cut it.
Be mindful about what card is actually oppressive:

The processor is the visible oppressor while the arena is often deemed not oppressive while it often is the oppressive card.

I think it will be an auto include. The saving grace is that it should play quite differently from deck to deck and fit into many archetypes.

Aggro loves a resilient beater and can make use of the counter synergy or use the life gain to trigger a Pridemate or something.

Midrange might blink it to stabilize or double up on a sacrifice outlet.

It could be annoying in a control deck against the aggro matchup if you block, get it back and then blink it. You gain 8 life and have 4 bodies for aggro to get through.

Last thing, it tends to signal persist combo which I don’t know if you support or not.

Imagine a lower powered cube with prowess and goblin typal as red themes. Could this by any chance be good enough?
It is even good in draw go control, I.e, counterburn. So yes, it is quite good in lower powered cubes which are not creature spell centric. It even rewards playing spells before combat, so that’s a fun angle.

I've played with it a bit, and my main takeaway was that it was pretty forgettable. The power level was fine, it's just that "tax myself to make a 1/1" doesn't feel super exciting so "the enchantment that taxes me to make goblins" was never that high on my list of things to remember.

sings to me as the prowess/goblin overlap card. If only it cost {1}{R}{R}...

I'm actually surprised you don't have

Who, honestly is pretty fair. Can quickly win the game on turn 6-7, but... also... just kind of fair.

Good suggestion with Wizardy! Instant speed is big game

Goblin Slide is not my cup of tea, and I agree with @LadyMapi that it’s very forgettable. 3 mana that doesn’t impact the board, you pay for each trigger, and then you only get a 1/1…nothing about that sparks joy for me.

I must say I have this in my old border inspired cube (strong ebablers weak payoffs, as shown above) and it gets played regularly. Don't underestimate the fact that the goblins get haste and that it plays well with enchantment and artifact themes too. It also rewards spell velocity.
The best sneaky goblin support next to Siege-Gang Commander is Battle Cry Goblin. I run those next to Goblin Trenches and Sparksmith. (https://cubecobra.com/cube/list/26cdca32-b3d4-4b80-bf4d-208bbcef422c if anyone is interested)

Considering this card as an occasional that makes white an interesting splash color for madness and selfmill decks:

But I fear that it is GRBS. Any opinions?

Do you have graveyard hate?
If not, it will turn attacking and blocking for the glory person easy, and miserable for the opponent. It could be fun for a few times but probably not always without counterplay

GY payoffs in White are rare, so I get the urge. Like Rusje though, I think it will lead to anticlimatic endings, where you just spend 6 mana and win.

It's a strong effect, but you need to have 3 mana open, which is a lot.

In practice, it's a Mother of Runs variant and the more you have to pay for the effect, the weaker they are. Affecting the whole team is less important than the cost is but the chance of making your whole the unblockable does give it an interesting edge. Note that you will get a creature blown up in response when you do.

The main issue is getting it into the bin. White can't do that and colours that do aren't likely to be interested in a white card. Madness decks also tend to discard lands so the effect is a bit too expensive for them. In practice, I think it's going to be a multicolour card, I would say WG or WB.

It never saw the most play, but, back in the day, I think it was played in GW madness decks and some midrange, value decks, perhaps with Survival of the Fittest, even.

Still if you want a similar effect, you have this:

It's better than it seems like, particularly the back. A free instant from the graveyard hurts!
