Sac cards that don't suck!! This looks like a fun middle ground.

After years of desperation, I finally found my perfect rakdos card. All I wanted was an elegant design of a sac outlet that works with artifacts and creatures alike. And this one even hits the sweet spot of giving you value AND board presence as a payoff.

1G, draw a permanent from the top 5 seems interesting. Excess doesn't go to the graveyard, but this digs deep and grabbing so many card types is notable!
That said, I don't love the backside. This looks priced to move, 4 defense is suitably low, but a 4/3 with prowess:indestructible is kinda worse in both ways.
I forsee the backside either just dying because it's only got 3 toughness and (probably) isn't protected the turn it comes down OR accidentally blanking your opponent's entire hand.

I'm so glad the backside of this card ended up being good. I really like the front!

Look planeswalk or chaos ensues is peak "ignore this" text, but is this the first x spell that makes x 1/1 fliers? Stolen by the Fae and Occult Epiphany are both limited on what you can make with them.

I came here to say this. The confusion is understandable and lovely. As a math teacher and language enthusiast this really speaks to me. I must have it framed!

I've been here a long time, I've contributed what I've can to this forum, and I'll continue to do so. If you don't care for my views or how I post (as you've made abundantly clear many times before) just block me and we can move the fuck on.

I just want to add in that I appreciate seeing your perspective, and while I'd prefer a less negative environment for discussing new mechanics that we haven't had the chance to play with yet, I think you're making fair points and not being overly pessimistic.

I don't think either of you are being unreasonable, but I come here to read from/engage with both of you, so I'm hoping y'all are able to make this a little less personal and we can keep this (very small) community whole.

I like this. I'm pretty excited about it as a blink target for my Champion's League Cube, and the art is excellent.

I agree! It really feels like the current designers are a big fan of the game they're designing for.

I think these are the cards that hold some promise (even if only a little) from the full spoiler dump. Wary Thespian as well, but that was already mentioned. If you want to run Incubator tokens there's a few more, but I left those out here.

Realmbreaker's Grasp is the most exciting to me. That's a huge upgrade over Pacifism! Atraxa's Fall is also the most efficient and versatile this effect has ever been, I think? Wrenn's Resolve is also an excellent rate for impulse draw.
