In terms of land support for colorless, what does your land section look like?
My cube is 360 and I've got:
2x Fetches
1x Shocks
1x Duals
3 Temples (Triumph, Epiphany, and Malady)
3 Wasteland
1 Creeping Tar Pit
1 Grove of the Burnwillows
and ~6 mana rocks.
I'm thinking I want to include manlands, some ULD picks (my drafters are moving away from ULD), and some support for colorless (6-7 cards). Should I add more lands or tweak the ones I've got? My first step is to change the Temples out for painlands or filterlands.
My cube is 450, so divide all these numbers appropriately, but I've got:
-Fetch/Fetch/Shock/Dual/Manland
-4 Wasteland
-2 Mutavault
-8 mana rocks that produce colorless
-Gavony Township
-5 Fetchable B/<> scry lands.
The problem here is that all the mana rocks only kind of count, since most of the cards that require colorless mana lend themselves to an aggressive deck that isn't exactly happy playing mind stone, so even under the assumption those count for half each (Debatable if they count at all), I've got 16/450 for 3 cards.
Basically the pattern I'm noticing is that people want to draft these, but either are forced to add mana rocks to Naya Zoo, or like 3/4 wastes to their deck (Clearly not optimal). Painlands would really help, but I'm not sure it's the solution I'll finally be happy with, since it's so obvious
